Timber engineering as pure fantasy.

The owners came to us with an imagined mythology, a wooded hillside, and a question: could a timber shop build storybook shapes with the same rigor we bring to a great-room truss? The answer was yes — but only if the engineering carried the fantasy, not the other way around.

Every suite is a bespoke frame, cut and pre-fit at our Newport shop, then set on custom steel and timber piers that let the forest floor keep breathing beneath them. Curved rafters, faceted rooflines, and hand-shaped brackets were all drawn back to conventional connections a timber framer would recognize.

The result is a village that reads as folklore and stands like a Hearthstone build. Guests come for the story. They stay because the rooms are quiet, warm, and unmistakably real.
