WildSide is the raddest and baddest adventure park Tennesseeans have ever Tennesseen — 900 acres of mountain, 18-plus miles of trail, and 1,500 feet of elevation change stretched across the Smoky Mountain foothills. It is a place built for people who want to feel the terrain under them, not look at it from a window.

Guests come to drive off-road on guided UTV tours, to rent mountain and electric bikes, and — as of the latest expansion — to ride the MegaZip, the longest zipline in America at 5,771 feet, hitting 55 mph across four side-by-side lines. A park at this scale needs architecture that can meet the landscape on its own terms.

That is why WildSide called Hearthstone. Heavy timber, cut in Newport, trucked up the mountain, and raised into the kind of structures that look as though they grew out of the ridge itself. Antique-hewn posts, honest joinery, and long overhangs shaped for weather — the same language we bring to a private lodge, scaled up for the crowds that come to unleash the wild.

The partnership continues as the park grows. Every new outpost is another chance to prove that a commercial timber structure does not have to look commercial.
